The Living Last Supper

The table is set. The sanctuary darkens and a hush falls across the room. The angel Gabriel enters bringing the “Light of the World” transporting the congregation to another time and place significant to Christians around the world: the Upper Room some 2000 years ago. A Savior and his disciples gather to break bread and celebrate Passover.
Since 1995, Saint Andrew Global Methodist Church has opened its doors for the dramatic presentation of “The Living Last Supper”. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd, the members of Saint Andrew will, once again, bring the age-old story to life. The audience becomes part of the story as the table preparers lead worshippers in the candle-lit room to receive open communion at the table with Christ Jesus and the twelve.
Admission is free and a nursery will be provided.
Saint Andrew Global Methodist Church is located at 2019 North Edwards Ave. For more information, call 903-572-6457.
