Whether from abuse, grief, loss, accidents or poverty, trauma causes significant harm. These moments of trauma have a profound impact on who we are. Without proper support, students struggling with unresolved trauma are led down a much more difficult path; some of whom never recover. This workshop will equip you with the essential knowledge of identifying and successfully supporting students of all ages who have experienced trauma.
Shepherd’s Heart Ministry has partnered with Darlene Marshall from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Smith County to offer free Trauma Awareness Training. This training has been successfully utilized in school districts all over East Texas and is now available at no cost to those in ministry.
