Free Speaker at Smithsonian in San Augustine: The Story of Possum Trot

Join us in San Augustine at 3:00 pm in the Augus Theater on West Columbia Street. Family members of Bishop WC Martin will talk about the events that became a popular movie, “Sound of Hope, the Story of Possum Trot”. This is a moving story about how Donna and Bishop Martin ignite a movement of compassion in their East Texas church for 22 families to adopt 77 of the most difficult-to-place kids in the foster system.
