FreeEast Texas Baptist University’s School of Communication and Performing Arts presents a music faculty recital featuring soprano, Mrs. Judith Shelton. Mrs. Shelton is assistant professor of music, the Vocal Coordinator and the Music Director of Musical Theatre. She teaches vocal pedagogy, and vocal diction. The recital present the gospel experience and Christian life from both the sacred and secular points of view. Join us for an evening of American composers such as Bernstein and Barber ad enjoy the premier of a new cycle of sacred song composition set to the poetry of Great Awakening preacher and poet John Wesley.
