Dolly Pardon LIVE in Van – 1st Annual Turkey Pardon

Van, Texas – Van City Mayor Tammy Huff will officiate the 1st Annual Turkey Pardon at the Van Community Library located at City Hall on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11am.
Dolly Pardon, the guest of honor, is a resident of the Believe in Vegan Ranch in Wills Point, Texas. The rescue ranch and education sanctuary has given Dolly a miraculous second chance at life. Dolly Pardon has become the spokes-turkey for her fellow feathered friends, advocating blessings and second chances for all. On their behalf, she has graciously accepted the invitation to be pardoned. Dolly is a wonderful reminder of gratitude and forgiveness during this Thanksgiving season.
True to Dolly Pardon’s sense of duty, she will first visit the Van Community Library to educate and entertain local children. Weekly Story Time is one of the library’s children’s programs providing opportunities to gather, share and learn. All are welcome to attend.
