Christmas Cards for Seniors

Beginning November 1, Geektopia will be hosting their annual Christmas Cards for Seniors drive. Geektopia will be present at local events in and around Kilgore such as the annual Derrick-Lighting, Mingle & Jingle, Tyler Comic Con, and Tis the Season, as well as weekly in-store events, with cards available for members of the community to sign. They will be sorted and delivered to local care facilities, including Arabella of Kilgore, Arbor Grace, The Willows, Evergreen Danville Community Home, Parkview on Hollybrook in Longview, and Overton Healthcare Center. Cards will also be available for signing at Geektopia during regular business hours (11:00am-8:00pmTuesday – Saturday). They are also accepting signed pre-printed or handmade cards from the community, as well as children’s holiday-themed artwork, or donations of blank Christmas cards for signing. Signed cards and artwork will be delivered to the facilities for distribution in the week leading up to Christmas.
