Back Pack Program of Gladewater Pancake Dinner Fund Raiser

The Back Pack Program of Gladewater identifies and sends food home with over 150 kids in the Gladewater and Union Grove ISD’s each school year week end. These are kids that may have food insecurities and not always enough food at home. The cost of this program is just over $25,000 a year, so we have fund raisers, some grants, and personal donations to fund this ministry. 100% of the money raised goes to purchase the food packets we send home from the East Texas Food Bank in Tyler.  The location will be at the First Methodist Church in Gladewater, 217 W. Quitman in the Christian Life Center. Music will be provided by The Gospel Roadshow Band. The cost is $10 a plate for all you can eat and kids under 5 eat free.
