- The annual Winnsboro Festival of Books is 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. May 7 on Market Street and in downtown Winnsboro, Texas
- The festival will children’s activities including hosting children’s authors, storytime art activities, and free books for children
- There will be several authors selling their books, author panel discussions, and entertainment
- The festival will be followed by a spoken word performance by Billy Henderson at 7 p.m. at Winnsboro Center for the Arts at 200 Market St. Winnsboro, Texas
